Buy Alpha Finance (ALPHA)
ALPHA is the native utility token for the Alpha Finance Lab organisation. Token holders can earn a share of network fees by staking ALPHA tokens to cover any default loans. The tokens are also used for governance and liquidity mining. The Alpha Finance Lab group launched in 2020, aiming to produce an ecosystem of DeFi products to address shortfalls they believe are present in the industry. Their first product is Alpha lending, a decentralised lending protocol with algorithmically-adjusted interest rates. Their second product is a leveraged yield-farming platform. Their third and most recent product is AlphaX, a non-orderbook perpetual swap product that allows users to hedge their leveraged yield farming positions. AlphaX also lets DeFi users take directional asset bets on market movements using leverage. Alpha Finance Lab is a decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) meaning ALPHA token holders control the governance by holding the tokens. There is a two-layer system in place with the product and the finance function having split governance. The founding team has experience across both investment banking and technology.
